A woman at the Vanity Fair store in New York City on Wednesday had her budget slashed to $3.1 million.
The dress she was buying had an estimated price tag of $1,500.
The cost is now more than $3 million, but it’s a “bargain,” said Tiffany McDaniel, who works for Vanity Fair.
“I’ve had a lot of great conversations with women, who’ve come in and said, ‘I’m so sorry, I just can’t afford it.'”
The $1 million dress has gone on sale at the mall for $1.99, and is available at Macy’s, department stores and Target, which has a discount of $2.99.
But it will cost a little more than a dress from a similar dress at the Fair, which is worth $150.
It has a similar color scheme, and the fabric is similar, so you can see why the dress was sold for $3 per pair, McDaniel said.
“People have been asking me how it feels to get a dress for $2,000, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, it’s so expensive,'” she said.
“And they’re like, that’s a lot!
That’s a million dollars!
That is insane!”
The dress was originally supposed to go on sale on Tuesday, but Macy’s didn’t show up for the event.
The store is open 24 hours, so the dress went on sale for a little over an hour before the store had its first customer.
“We have some amazing sales, and we’re not getting it for $7.99,” said Macy’s director of sales, David Lebowitz.
“The best part is that we’re getting the dress for people who were really passionate about it, and wanted to show their support.”
She said the store has sold $2 million worth of dresses since opening in 2012, and that she expects to continue to sell dresses in the future.
“I think the dress has been amazing, and it’s made us feel like we’re doing something special,” she said, adding that she has noticed a shift in the fashion industry.
“The fashion industry has grown so much and so fast.
It’s not just about the trend; it’s about what we’re bringing to the table.
And now it’s time to bring a new, creative, new direction to the fashion business.”
McDaniel said she and her friends are thrilled about the dress, and hope to return for the second half of the season.
“Now I know that this is the dress I’ve always wanted,” she told Recode.
“It’s a great dress that is perfect for me.”
