In March 2018, the Florida State Fairgrounds held its annual batwing fair, the Georgia Batwing Festival.
In 2019, the Fairgrounds opened the Georgia Ballroom, a venue dedicated to the Georgia batwing.
The Georgia Ballrooms debut, and the Georgia Fair, are both scheduled to return to the Fair Grounds in 2019.
