The Texas State Farm Fair kicks off on Sunday with Texas farmers, fair organizers and visitors.
Here are five things to know about the fair.
What: Texas State Farmers’ Fair What: The Texas Farm Bureau of Texas Fair What to expect: Farm shows, auctions and other events that take place throughout the state fairgrounds.
Where: The State Fairgrounds in Amarillo The fairgrounds open at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets: $15-$60-$85 for adults and children, children 2 and under free; $35-$60 for adults; children 5 and under are free.
The fair is open from March 1 through September 30.
What to do: Check out the Texas State Farmer’s Market at the Fairgrounds.
It’s a marketplace with fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, a farm fair, farmers markets, and more.
The market is open March 1-Oct. 25.
